Find a new way to deal with the stress of being a new mom. Now that baby has arrived, take time to connect with other mothers to revitalize and renew your mind, body and spirit. Classes will enhance your physical and mental well-being while you bond with your baby.
Itsy Bitsy Yoga® introduces your baby and you to the many benefits of yoga. Helen Garabedian, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator and Registered Yoga Teacher, created this program which includes yoga poses and techniques for babies that are developmentally nutritious and deepen the parent/child bond.
You and your baby will delight in practicing Yoga, discovering movement, and singing IBY rhymes together. Babies participate according to their ability, learning style, and personality. They will learn yoga through repetition, play, and bonding.
Babies should be 6 weeks to 9 months (pre-crawling). Please bring a blanket for your baby and all other items your child may need to be comfortable (pacifier, toys, etc.)
Pre-registration required. There is a class size limit.

About the Instructor
Shaun English is a Registered Yoga Teacher through the Yoga Alliance. She is certified through Itsy Bitsy Yoga International to facilitate the yoga experience for caregivers and babies. Shaun completed formal teacher training with Baron Baptiste and Ana Forrest (2006). Experiencing yoga was her year 2000 resolution, one of the few she has joyfully maintained. Shauns Itsy Bitsy Yoga classes combine practical poses moms do with the babies, abdominals for the moms, and opportunities for connection with other moms. Adults and the babies they nurture can always benefit from a focused breath together.
