My yoga journey began about 16 years ago after studying Tai Chi and Meditation during college. My first yoga class experience was a semester-long course my senior year. As a highly stressed out theater major and competitive dancer, yoga gave contrast and balance to my otherwise hectic lifestyle. I have practiced several styles of yoga over the years, but mainly as a way to stay physically fit and limber. I didn’t realize the life-changing effect it would have on me until I was diagnosed with a chronic pain condition and mood disorder. Suddenly yoga was more a lifestyle than a workout.

I took the 200 hour Fresh Yoga Teacher Training to deepen my personal practice and learn how to help others through yoga the way it has helped me. My classes are welcoming and accessible for students of all levels and ability. I continue to teach in the Fresh style and encourage a mind-body connection that can be taken off the mat.
