Elizabeth began practicing yoga in 2010. She walked into a class and left knowing that yoga was a necessity to create balance and flexibility in her life, on and off the mat. She is an educator of over 20 years having taught every age and in varied school systems. She believes in developing a safe and supportive environment in which her students can express themselves. As her personal practice grew, she sought further training in yoga and decided to expand her teaching repertoire to include this life changing practice. She completed her 200 hour Teacher Training at Bhoga Yoga School and her 500 hour with Heidi Sormaz and Rolf Gates at Fresh Yoga. Elizabeth has completed many other trainings and workshops to continue exploring and expanding her practice of yoga.
Elizabeth's goal is to create an encouraging environment in which her students discover new aspects of themselves. Her classes are a vinyasa style with some heat helping the body to open to new adventures and discover one's possibilities.
Elizabeth is forever grateful to the teachers of her past, present and future. They have helped her to breathe fully and live life with courage.
